Carfax shows rebuilt title issued multiple times

Just as the subject says, I ran a Carfax report on a car that I'm interested in buying. It turns out that the Carfax report shows that the 5th (and current) owner took out a rebuilt title nearly every year since he bought the car. The car was bought in Florida and the report shows that it has only had reported title/ownership information in Florida, so I'm not concerned that there was title washing in another state that issues clean titles for rebuilt titles.

Is this something normal or is it something I should be concerned about?

I've test driven the car and it appears to be running very smoothly. My only other concern is that it has 112000 miles for a 1999. The Carfax report shows no signs of Odometer rollback, but that still raises an alarm for me since what are the odds that 15yr old car has such low mileage.

Other than that, the car is in real good condition for a 1999 vehicle.

Hopefully you ran, as fast as you could, from this car. Looks like it was totalled at least twice. You could be looking at a LOT of repairs down the road.

I agree - run from this deal. Don't waste your hard earned money on this car.
