brake wire for brake controller, escalade 2000

I try the find the brake wire that connect to the red wire of the brake controller I installed of my caddy escalade 2000.
please need info, where it is ? color?

The brake controller wire color can be different across brands.Are you asking about the primary power wire for the brake controller or the brake input that is hot with the brake pedal applied?

You might want to check your owner's manual to see if there is any mention of a stubbed out trailer brake controller harness. I'm not sure what year GM started installing the harnesses when the vehicle is fitted with the towing package.

If no mention of one, the below images should help. In the top image, the stoplight switch can be found in the upper middle of the diagram. Looks like you're after the white wire. The second image provides a reference point as to where you can find the stoplamp switch connector. The stoplamp switch harness connector is item number 4.

now i will try to find the stoplamp switch harness connector (wire) to connect to the brake controller.

I found the wire from the brake pedal switch, its white.
