02 4.6 won't crank, odometer reads all dashes

Mountaineer stalled while turning. Would not crank when I tried to restart. The odometer and temp read all dashes. Checked grounds, switched out relays and checked fuses. All looked good. Any suggestions?

Re: 02 4.6 won't crank, odometer reads all dashes

I followed some steps I read online and checked the PCM. The grounds seem to be good, although I don't think I'm getting power. Does anyone know how the power is fed?

Turned out to be the PCM diode.

Very interesting. Do you have any idea why a bad PCM diode would only cause issues when turning? When diodes fail they typically either fail open or fail shorted. I can't say I've ever heard of one failing intermittently.
