Its an E38 (1995-2002) generation 735i, i do not recall if they mentioned the specific year or not though. We only got 740 and 750 those years, i'm not sure what kind of engine the 735 has, but maybe its a small V8?

Talking The Skinny On The Transporter Car In ?

If One Would Be So Inclined To Watch The Bonus Material On The Dvd "the Transporter" Jason Stathum Comments On The Statistics. That Car Is One Of A Kind Manual Transmission, V12 !!!!!!!!! Very Very Fast The Actor Replied And Fun To Drive. Most Of The Stunt Driving Was Done By Him As Well As The Fight Scenes!!! He Also Drives A 850 Csi In The Movie "the Italian Job". It Seems He Has A Fancy For Our Loves As Well. Oregato

Then it would be a 750i. Why replace the 735i V6 engine when they couldve had the 750i.

i don't think they made 750i's... only 750iL's.. and those were automatics.

nah, things were way different in Europe wiht BMWs. Manuals were i think standard on the &'s, and teh Autos were optional in Europe. BUt they sure as hell made a 750i. here,

Re: BMW in The Transporter???

hmm.. interesting... 750i's with manual trannys... you learn something new every day.

And yes, my sig is directly linked to the mbusa website. I love the way the CL600 looks in this pic.
