unknown wire/connector

Hello all.
I am trying to find out about a wire I see on my engine.
1994 Cutlass Supreme 3.1 Vin M engine.
The wire comes out of the wiring harness at the same place as the connector for the Air Intake Temperature Sensor.
The wire in question is a single wire with a connector and it is not attached to anything. To be honest I had never noticed it till earlier this year. It does hang down under the air cleaner to intake rubber tube.
I am just wondering if this is supposed to connected somewhere or not.
2 pictures are attached.
I did get a tune up last year so it is possible that the mechanic moved something and forgot to put this wire back.

cannot seem to get the second picture to post.
well if you click on the first thumbnail it does seem to let you look at both pictures. Not sure what I did wrong.
