63 Cadi to hot rod?

I have a 1963 Cadillac Model 62 Coupe and only use it for show and parades. I never show under the hood as there is nothing special. It looks good outside because I have exhaust headers and functional chrome side pipes.

I would like to make it look like a sleeper under the hood with an Edelbrock Intake Manafold a dual 4 Barrel Carbs, can this be done?

dual 4 bbls will look good but will make care slower than a good dual plane intake and single carb. might also consider a cam swap. dual 4bbl carbs are for 6000 rpm and above and not sure your motor would like reving that high
