trying to find a trans filter

doing a gasket pan on the gasket on my 66 olds dynamic 88 trans. went to the local parts store and got a filter kit. not even close. brought it back and we matched a gasket to the pan...a 68. ok no biggie took it home. gasket fits, filter does not. i have a part number on the old one but google comes up with nothing as the ac delco site. AC PF-160 5579822 are the numbers on the old filter. the filter lays sideways and has a pick up tube that almost looks like an oil pump. im confused and cant find it. really dont want to re-use the same filter since i have the pan off anyways. any ideas? the tranny could be pretty much any year..but the 68 pan gasket fits. def not a 66
