Question Diagnose Toyota Camry XV50 @home

Hello friends,

first hello to everyone

I own a Camry XV50 from 2012 (see picture). This is such a great car, it works perfectly fine and supported me through difficult drives .

The problem is that it shows the "engine check light" every one or two months. When I leave the car with my local service station, I have the feeling, that they only delete the fault.

Is there a way to delete the fault at home by myself? This way I wouldn't have to drive to the service station and pay them every time.

Is it true that there are smartphone apps that are able to delete car faults?

Any insights?

Best,
mycar89

Re: Diagnose Toyota Camry XV50 @home

Remove and replace the ECM fuse (probably under the hood).
