Location of DRL module on 01 windstar

Can anyone please advise me - where is the actual location of the factory-installed Daytime Running Light module on a Canadian model 01 windstar ? A while back I did obtain a computer printout diagram of it's likely location but if memory serves me right the DRL module wasn't where they stated, or perhaps the diagram itself was rather ambiguous. At any rate I wasn't able to find it in order to rectify the problem.

Any help with this would be most appreciated.

ps .. describing it's general appearance to me might possibly be helpful as well, just so I know what I'm looking for.

On my 2001 Windstar SE Sport the DLR control is accomplished by the FEM (Front Electronic Module). It is located lower-left, under-side of the instrument panel. It requires a software command to disable DLR.

Yes i just found that out as well. the internet is known to steer you into different directions i got the part number from the ford oem parts site and when i checked alldata it says that it's controlled by the Front Electronics Module so i guess if you don't see a module in the location you were told it's under the dash mounted behing the dash cluster at least thats where mine is located but it also has a remote start installed in it so who knows if they moved anything and or what they spliced into but will cost me 350 to remove and re-install it all once i get working again

Not that I doubted you, but I did make a call to my local dealership and they confirmed 1) it's integral with the FEM and 2) they would charge me about $50 (1/2 hour labour) to disable via software command. So for the time being at least, this DRL issue is on the back burner. Bigger fish to fry.

Thanks for your input. And thanks as well to Mustang_Driver for the pic regardless, it was a valiant effort.
