Shock Question '08 T4R Ltd 4WD

So how would I know if my T4R has the XREAS?

Regardless, since I tow a camper with about 500 lbs on the tongue, what would be the best shocks?

Not interested in any rock crawling, but I may do some moderate off-road driving.

Thanks.

Re: Shock Question '08 T4R Ltd 4WD

The easiest way is to call a Toyota parts department and give them your VIN. They can tell from that. If you have XREAS, you have to replace all the shocks if you are replacing the XREAS shocks with standard shocks.

You can tell by inspection if you have a center control absorber on each side of the truck in the middle front to back.

Bilstein makes excellent shocks:
