Help Identifying Classic Car Rearview Mirror -

Hello!
First time poster here but I'm a part of few other forums and I plan on trying to start a few threads.

I am trying to identify what model this rearview mirror could have been removed from.
Once I can peg that down, I wonder if the names etched in the back could be of any particular consequence, seems like a strange practice to me.

I'm going to try to figure out a place to post to ask about old bicycles in the collections of various automotive forum guys- I'm generally a bicycle man and I know a lot of mechanics that also collect bicycles. Any suggestions on where to post such a thing?
