Boost Control?? Help

what is boost control?? i am starting to get into ricers, and i need to know as much as i can. i am usually a muscle car man, but i dont have a muscle car, lol, so these are the next best thing...thanks..

well theres electronic boost controllers which allow u to change your boost level from inside of your car and then theres manual boost controlers which is under the hood and u basicly turn a knob to open and close the waste gate to control your boost level.

Your controlling the boost pressure from the turbocharger. Thats one of the good things about turbos. The ability to turn the boost up or down with the punch of a button or turn of a knob. Unlike superghargers were you have to swap pullies and belts.

Why are you going to steal a turbo from a junkyard if you dont know shit about them?

For everyones info:
This guy wants to jack a suposed twin turbo set up from a dodge in a junkyard.This was mentioned in another one of his topics.

A Boost controller is used to regulate the amount of psi (boost) a turbo system uses before it is released from the blow off-valve.
