need help 1999 no milage or driver thing light

I just bought a 1999 century yesterday. When I keep on asking how many mile he would want to show me something eles(then I forgot about it)Got home and I notice that the area that has the milage and if you are in p/n/d thing was black.I could not see anything. What should I do?Is the light burned out? How do I fix this?speed and gauges are lite up(which oil light is on-I check the oil it needs change-engine like is on.He told me its just a sensor, when I get that replaced it will go off.The sunroof dont open,he said it is just off track and I get it back on the track it will work fine. How do I put it back on track? And the front pasenger window does not roll down because the controler on the arm rest is missing,I just see wires sticking out.Where do I go toget that part and can I do it myself? Also the back left window I pushed the button and it rolled down just a smigen, wouldnt roll up and push it up(but there was no noise at all when I pushed it to go down and up) When I opened the hood after coming home(which I didnt drive to far) It was gurgling alot and there was alot of heat coming from it.Is this something to worry about? I had trucks before and they never did that. Can you please help me? I dont know a thing about working on anything.I just know how to drive.

Based on what you say about your mechanical ability, you cannot fix this car you need onsite help.

Sunroof is a body shop job, oil lite could be the oil change reminder or the oil level sensor, either way change the oil, missing parts speak for themselves, salvage yard is the cheapest for those, gurgling under the hood could mean many things, like I said someone who knows these cars needs to look at it, dash lites could be bulbs or bad connections.

Ask friends, relatives, etc who they take their car to...

In the first place, you should have never bought a vehicle like this with all these problems....

Was this a dealership? Or a private party? Check with your local Registry, as to what your recourse is, as far as repairs are concerned....your rights vary from state to state....for example, in my state you can't sell a car "as is".....

Yes I got it from a private party. He said that there is a few things that needs to be done but its easy stuff. After getting it home I start see things.I know this is an old car being a 1999. I keep to myself so dont really have friends to ask about this.
