Ford says they can't fix cruise control

On my 2010 Ford Taurus I am still under the bumper to bumper warranty but Ford says they can't fix my cruise control problem. The problem is when I am driving the cruise control will suddenly disengage and shut off. They tested it and all electroncis of the cruise control tested to be O.K. It doesn't happen often and isn't something that I can't live with but I am wondering what you would do. I would think that they would be able to fix it and that they would have to fix it. They told me that if it happens often enough that they could witness the problem in a test drive they would try to fix it. But it doesn't happen often enough that it would happen in a test drive. I might drive hundreds of miles before it happens.

Re: Ford says they can't fix cruise control

Does the green indicator in the instrument cluster shut off at the same time, or does the cruise gradually loose speed, then shut off or stop holding but the indicator stays on?
