Bang for the Buck

What modifications for the G20(esp. P10) produce the most horsepower per dollar? I'm asking because funds are limited and I want to make sure I don't spend my money on something that adds a small amount of HP. I'm thinking probably intake, exhaust, and headers are a good value.

Best bang for the buck is by far a turbo. But, I think you meant cheaper than that.

OK, here you go.

A good tune-up, especially combined with dyno tuning
Header
JWT S3 cams
JWT C2 cams w/valve springs
CAI
UR underdrive pulleys
ECU

Another one I just found out about is a 91 intake cam, or one of out a 10:1 Primera motor (some of the JDM motors that have been imported here in the US have this cam, this is the one I got). I picked mine up for under $75 and it make a very noticeable difference. Probably more than any other mod i've done so far. Lightening the stock flywheel made a big difference as well and that was about $100-125, but there is a LOT of work involved in the install on this mod. All the ones P10DET listed are very good too, CAI and header especially, because of the lower price.

Nah. I tried to get it when everybody just started talking about it, but they didn't have it in yet. Now I just haven't got around to getting it, but I will go and swoop it up today. But it's the red G20?

I would have thought someone who is trying to hide something as big as communism would be able to come up with a better excuse than that There is no good excuse for not having SCC, other than everywhere within a 350 mile radius doesn't have it in stock and there is a black hole located in the center of my mailbox so I can't pick up my subsription copy of SCC due to the magazine being located past the event horizon. hehehehe

George

When you installed the SR20DET in your G20 were you able to install the other mods from the old DE on the DET(e.g. header, cams, other stuff you listed above...)?
