Odds are you need a new 02 sensor. Make to sure to buy a "Honda "02
sensor. Aftermarket ones will not work. I know this first hand.

tells the computer how rich or lean you are running. You might be able to use the old one, but check your ecu and see what codes its showing if code 1 is one of them then replace it.

To check the code, pull back the passanger side carpet, by the glove box, you will see a little circle, turn the key to on and count the blinks. I think 1 blink is the O2 sensor. The codes repeat themselves, so don't keep counting. I bought a cheap, $ 20 O2 sensor earlier this summer, and all I had to do was cut the wire by the plug and crimp on the new wire, then wrap it in electrical tape. It works just fine.

Oh, FYI....if you have trouble getting the sensor out, they make special sockets for like $5 at autozone specially for 02 sensors.
