power at the wheels

Hey guys,

I have just had a major service and dyno tune for my r33gts25t. It has always had a 3.5 inch exhaust from the catback and a BMC panel airfilter in stock airbox.

Before the service it was running at 135kw at the wheels now it is running at 154.1kw at the wheels (at 9psi-stock boost).

Are these respectable numbers for my type of car?
What does 154kw at wheels translate to at the engine?

They have achieved this 20kw increase by:
1) Setting the timing to just under 18 degrees
2) Putting in irridium spark plugs and indexing them
3) Cleaning out throttle body

Is 18 degrees a safe level of timing for this car (always using 98ron) without chance of detonation?

Manual driveline loss is about 20% roughly.

I always forget the formula for converting kw to hp.

Indexing, that really does nothing.
