Complete: Tamiya 1/20th Lotus 79 “Ronnie’s Last Win”

Well we all know about this kit now. It is a pure demonstration of Tamiya’s skill at making a beautifully engineered kit. The only problem I had was the fit of the engine cover, and I think that is due to the aftermarket trumpets. Oh yes and some of the side pod decals have silvered a bit but that’s down to my crappy paintwork…!

The kit is basically Out Of The Box, with the addition of the Tamiya p/e set, some Tabu decals and the Tuner Model Factory intake trumpets. As I said, a beautiful kit to build, and a true icon to put on the shelf.
