I have a 99 Sub. and my left rear door lock is stuck "locked". The power locks don't open it and I physically can't pull it up without feeling like I'm going to break the plastic lock handle/tab. The truck sat for 10 days while I was on vacation, when I returned, the lock was stuck.
Any suggestions on what to do? |

Sounds as though your door lock solenoid has come loose inside the door. If it has fallen down & bound, it won't be able to dis-engage the lock. It is only held on with two small aluminum rivet to the door frame. You can fix it yourself by pulling the door panel loose by popping it out with care (a hair raising experience). Plan on replacing the plastic anchors. Once open, you can re-position the solenoid, drill new holes into the bracket and refix with rivets, or preferrably bolts with backing nuts.

Re: Door Lock Stuck
the only way you will ever have a chance to open it is do what Kelley mentioned. Be careful with the panel. Invest in a couple of tools if nessisary. Better to spend $10-$20 on proper tools than screwing up the panel that would cost much more.
