Port & Polish LIM
Hey guys! Haven't been on here in a long while. I bought myself another project car. 1997 Grand Prix GT.
I'm going to be replacing the Lower Intake Manifold gasket, and had a question. I'm thinking about sending the manifold out to get ported and polished. My question is, if I do have the manifold ported, will the felpro lower intake manifold gasket work...or will I have to order a different gasket? Also, should the PCM be programmed for this?

Re: Port & Polish LIM
Late reply but here is my opinion.
The felpro gaskets will fit and no pcm programming is required. Polishing the LIM is IMO a waste of money. you can barely see it. If you are looking for a show quality engine bay then go for it. Porting the LIM is a piece of cake. a good drill and some grinder fittings. you can gasket match the intake while porting so it is a good match. You will not notice really any power gain on a Gt unless you have maybe an HV2 and good airflow in.
