Guess who saw an SC 430 for the first time today? It was me! I was very glad to see it. I thought they were ugly in pictures, but I actually thought it looked really good in person. I got to see front, back, and sides as it passed me (I was stopped in my lane). Nice car.

Oh, but it was gorgeous in person. The headlights look so incredible...but the rear end still seemed too bulky and the rear deck was too rounded off (comparable to the Chrysler Phaeton concept). I think if the rear deck was a little boxier it would make it look a lot better. It was gorgeous though, and it sounded sweet!

I saw it at the LA car show in Jan.

I was real excited about it when I first read all the articles. I mean, how cool are hardtop comvertibles? (see also: Silvia Varietta )

Then I learned that they were really pushing the 'luxury' and not the 'sport,' and that it was only available with an auto tranny...

And I fell back out of love.

I saw 3 SC 430's on my way down to LAX the other day. I also saw another one driving around town.

They look a lot nicer in person than in the pics. The price is still pretty steep though. I don't like the new design that much to spend 60K on one.

I saw three red SC430s all in one day, and they look huge!!!

Just the color, I suppose, because I saw a black one and it was okay...

I wouldn't speed if I had a red one! :licker:
