WIP Nissan GT-R34 Z-Tune Orange Tamiya 1:24 24282

Hello!
*
I've decided to start my first thread on AF Forum

*
I will make this model without hurry and i will make it the best how i can.
*
Some photos of kit:

*
Decals
*

*
Remaining accesories (mesh, metaltransfers, windows mask)
*

*
This version of Nissan R34 is different than normal. 1st difference - hood
*

*
Air inlets at the end of the doors (or beginning, depends on our view )
*

*
Rear bumper diffuser
*

*
And some interesting details:
*
-2 exhaust tips
*

*
-2 steering wheels
*

*
-2 front bumpers (!) - differences: more edgy top part of bumper, different air inlets and additional bumper lip
*

*
-2 rims kits (Nismo and normal, silver rims are smaller than black ones so we can't use it anyway because tires are too big for them)
*

*
-2 kits of brakes (a LITTLE difference..^^) - right side - rear ones, left side - front ones

*
Details, which i want to use
*
-Metal transfers MS-012 A+ Club

*
-decals with metal parts Hobby Design HD01-0033 (kit for R32, R33, R34)
*

*
-Tamiya Detail-Up Set, which surprised me so much..
*

*
..inside, except photoetches and instruction ( ) we will find a metal exhaust tip, nismo stickers and car floor mats in black colour, YAY!!!!
*

*
Nissan will be in X-6 Tamiya Orange and rims will be in XF-1 Black Matt,Zero Paints clearcoat. I will use Zero Primer, Tamiya Acrylic and Zero Paints + Tamiya X-20A Thinner (or Mr. Color Levelling Thinner which includes retarder).
*
Please follow my thread,
greetings for modellers from all over the world,
kashato from Poland

Re: WIP Nissan GT-R34 Z-Tune Orange Tamiya 1:24 24282

Mini up:

I cut off meshes which will be used in front bumper (from Tamiya detail set) and photoetched intercooler.

At the beginning i used Mr. Metal Primer

Next X-18 Tamiya and X-7 Tamiya

NISMO is made by template from set

Here is a model which I am working at now, hope will end it nowadays

I prefer using airbrush because of coat, it's equal. When i'm using Tamiya XF-1 Flat Black marker, i see a straight line marks.

Re: WIP Nissan GT-R34 Z-Tune Orange Tamiya 1:24 24282

Little update.

When I am making models, I always make it in few levels. Chassis and suspension, body, interior, some other small things.

I started with chassis and suspension - I primed some parts for example brake discs (I painted it in Tamiya Orange, same color will be on body - it looks little darker than it should be because i used gray primer, on the body will be white primer so the colour will be brighter) and I put photoetched brake discs. On the brake calipers will be a Brembo decal.

Re: WIP Nissan GT-R34 Z-Tune Orange Tamiya 1:24 24282

I made chassis - now ready for weathering and wash.

Next step - rims. Now they are primed, waiting for paint (Tamiya XF-1 Black Matte + Nismo decal)
