Theft deterent service light
My 2004 grand prix gt2 theft deterent service light is on. the owners manual states that i have to take it to a dealer to get it fixed. but would rather not since I probably can't afford the bill. Does anyone know of a way i can fix it myself? So far I have no problems with the car starting or runiing at this point, any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Does your car have have PassKey III or Passlock(check owner's manual)?
Unless you have a scan tool capable of reading P,B, and U codes, there is not much you can do....
