moulding question.

Does anyone know how this black strip is attached to the body and bumper? The guy who owned the car before me did a shitty job of painting the stuff and I want to either replace it or repaint it depending on how it is affixed to the car. Also does anyone have a problem with their rear bumper hanging a little lower on one side than the other? If so is problem easy to fix and if so how? Thanks.

Yea, I took that black trim off my fender, and they like snap/clip in to metal clips on the door. It is indented in the door so you'd have to take them out and fill it in with something-bondo, etc?

quite a bit i believe, because most people who take theres off screw them up because they wont need them because they are putting on a bodykit, so ur chance of finding them used are rather slim, might have to go to the dealer

Actually I think it looks pretty good when people take off the side molding and leave the groove in the side of the car, just patch up the holes and make it smooth and paint it... very nice contour lines...

I'll take em' is she doesn't want them. Thats if there's no difference between the one you have and whats on a 90 civic. Does anyone know where I could find some side skirts for my 4th gen hatch? I've seen the wings west kit but thats all. Any cool links?

Well.. if you want moulding, dont go to the dealer... they charge like 70 bucks for one. better to just get a used one (very hard to find)

junkyard maybe?
