how horses does your 4 banger push?

My 350ci, with an oversized cam, hooker comp headers, 750 4 barrell carb, pushes around 360hp. Have you ever hear an atomatic scratch in 3rd gear at 85 mph? Tell me what your ride is pushing.:flash:

All my fours push in 250 are. And oh by the way, leaving scratch is all about torque not hp. So I guess the question is how much torque do you have?

If I wanted to I could push my fours up to 450 hp or so. But why. If I want numbers like that I drive my V8's.

My little 4-Banger Neon, is getting pretty close to 500 Hp, that's with a stock engine and a HRC Stage V Turbo charger.

your confused! I dont think that your little 4 cyl, neon is even close to 500 hp even with a stage v turbo! A chevy corvette z06.5 with a 350 ci small block thats a v8 for the less knowledged people and twin turbo only pushes 500hp with 500 ft/lbs of torque. so you may want to get a dyno test before you start to through out hp guesses.

yeah right

I had my car dynoed. Therefore there is no way you can tell me it isn't punching about 500Hp. Different companies make different turbos, they aren't all the same. If they were all they same then everybody would have the same turbo all the time.

Care to see proof of a weak 4 banger putting down 400 WHP?

yeah, my mothers old 1.8L gallant used to "scratch" going into 3rd.

I think it also had more spefic hp than your clearly poorly built 350.
Come back and boast to us when your making N/A 100hp per Liter. (thats 570hp)

Ok your lying about the dyno test! Because you would have told us exactly what it pushes not "its pushing close to 500 hp" like you dont know! And who ever the dippidy doo dah, who said that my 350 was poorly built is obviously not smart! Considering i have only put $1000 in mods I think that it is quite stout. And yall better check your books because chevy small block 350 is the winningest engine in history in all aspects of racing. And if you havent spent more than 8 or 9 grand on that neon, then their is no way in hell that your pushing 500 hp.

Ok, so your saying the only mod you have is the turbo and your pushing 500 HP? well the HRC site says that with the maximum output for the Stage V is 475 HP...

I would have to agree. 500 HP out of a 2.0L inline four seems pretty far fetched to me. What have you done to your frame, transmission, and transaxle to keep the power from tearing them apart?

I could get my 2.2L inline four running at over 500HP but the cost would be incredible, I doubt anyone would bother wasting the money. I don't know about everyone else but something smells funny to me.

Well, here is a little four banger, that I am proud to say, would give your 350ci a run for its money.

As for the guy with the neon, put up, or shut up.
