Steering wheel Vibrations

My car vibrates a lot when I am sitting at a stop sign or waiting at a curb either in drive or reverse. When it is in Park or Neutral it doesn't shake as bad and it dosesn't shake during breaking just when it is stopped. Any ideas? I feel the shaking through the steering wheel mostly but the whole care vibrates as well.

Thanks for your help.

Ahh, the motor mounts-that could be a good point.
But it's probably the idle...

Idle v. Motor mounts

The Idle is on the money but I haven't checked to motor mounts. Frankly I have no idea what to look for with motor mounts. Is it hard to replace them?

Do you have any mechanical experience?
Is this car your talking about the 96 KIA thats in your profile? If so why not take it too the dealer? Even if it's out of warranty they will only look at it a diagnose whats wrong. That cannot fix it unless you tell them too. They should give you an estimate up front. Or like Meineke or Midas does this too.
