ford escort cosworth
i dunno if i spelt it right but what is the ford escort cosworth.. the one in getway in stockholm 2??? it sounds fast.... hahaha... anyone know anything bout it??? please tell me..

Ford Escort Cosworth was a small family car that had been tuned by Cosworth Engineering. It had a 2ltr engine and a turbo and was v. quick, also 4 whl drive I think ?. Not sure the exact stats. You knew it was a turbo anyway though cos in Getaway 2 you can really hear the turbo wastegates going "WHOOSHHH" and making this great sound everytime he takes his foot of the throttle
 Became a huge favourite with "Joy riders" in England. Basically kids who used to rob cars. You've heard the expression drive it like its stolen. Well they did. Cossies became very difficult to insure as they were robbed so often. Extremely good rally car, still alot of them around in rallying today. I think Cosworth are still involved in Formula one or they were at one stage anyway.

I own one. They are great. Right now its getting a little tume up and I am driving my friends Audi TT Roadster. Its nice too, but I miss my Escort. The Escort's suspention is much stiffer and the turbo is fun. If you really want one, stick it on a boat and ship it. Sure there are some hassles, but its worth it.
