Smile 2004 F150- 2WD Wheel Bearings and lower ball joint price

My 2004 F150- 2WD, 6cyl. 90K miles needs lower ball joints and wheel bearings. I am over 70 and just can't attack jobs like this myself anymore. What is a fair price I should pay a mechanic to do this job? Thanks.

Parts wise, bearing are less than $10 each side. If complete hubs are needed, $250 each. Ball joints are $30 each, but it need complete control arm, $125 each.
A shop with the right tools could do it under two hours, so it depends on their rate. Average in this area is $125 an hour. Best to have them inspect and give you a quote first. If you are ok with the price, setup an appointment and have them order the parts first. This way they aren't charging you for the time it is on the rack while they wait for the parts to arrive.

When I had access to a shop with an air compressor, I'd use an air hammer fitted with a ball joint fork insert. Doing it manually with a normal ball joint fork and it doesn't budge, I will get a second fork in from the other side and hit both simultaneously with 3 pound hammers.
