1999 F250 SD Mirrors

I'm hoping someone out there knows the answer to this. I have the stock paddle type (power) mirrors on my truck. If I get OEM towing mirrors will they fit my truck and are the plugs the same?

Re: 1999 F250 SD Mirrors

I have a 98 150 and have just the standard manual mirrors. I've been looking at getting the power mirrors. What I do know is that the mount is the same. From other things I've read, the connections "should" be the same. I recommend if you get the mirrors from a salvage yard, you go ahead and get all the related wires and switches from each door just to be sure.
I just opened up my doors yesterday to the inside to take a look. I had been told that for some, the wires were still run into the doors even when they don't have power locks, power windows and power mirrors. But unfortunately I've only got wires for the door ajar and the speakers. So I'll have the hassle of running wires back under the dash as well.
