Re: Wicked colors by Createx
Those are supposed to be very good paints, so I think you may have gotten yourself a bargain .

Re: Wicked colors by Createx
Can you actually use these on 1/24 bodies? Like... with good results?

Re: Wicked colors by Createx
them on last 2 builds. So I have used wicked opaque white and wicked blue. they leave orange peel which could be me but at the same time I sprayed model masters ,Tamiya, and alclad and none of them did. also the dry semi-gloss. no big deal if you cover with clear coat. It says ready to handle after 30 mins but even a day later paint still feels soft. I used Tamiya and krylon primers with it. at this point cant say if they are good or not give me a few builds.

Re: Wicked colors by Createx
That looks great. Can you break down your painting process with this stuff? Did you use createx clear or is that future? Did you polish it with anything? What were your drying times?

Re: Wicked colors by Createx
That's very impressive using a paint like Createx. I've only ever used to spray lexan RC bodies because it's durable, and has a bit of an elasticity to it. I may have to give this a try in the future.

Re: Wicked colors by Createx
I'm sorry but I was mistaken. The color above is Detail Magenta from wicked. But I have painted spoons as samples with createx. As far as how, well I didn't do anything special. I primed with Tamiya fine white primer. Thinned the paint with a little tamiya thinner and sprayed a lot of coats to get it to cover. I wet sanded the paint the next day and applied 2k clear. The next day I wet sanded the 2k with a 3000 sponge. I finished byt polishing using Menzerna products.
