350 tbi to a 5.3 vortec

Ok fellows & ladies...too... i have a 1995 gmc with a 350 in it. i browsed youtude and seen 5.3s in my body style..so I want to swap mine out too i found one just motor for $500 or i will be going to the junk yard to buy me a vortec. Do anyone have a list of parts i will also need and will i need the transmission too or will my current 700r work. i need all the info i can get
