Thanks for the reply! These "things" look quite interesting but I need a bit more information:

1. What are they?
2. How do I use them..?
3. Where can I get them?
4. Any further instructions?

Thanks!

It's a pair of standar DIN radio removal tools, you can get them at the dealer or any local Autozone, car audio shop, etc.
To remove the radio, insert the DIN tols into the two holes on each side of the radio to release it, then tilt them a bit sideways and pull the radio out.
Once you have it out, disconnect the wires, and connect the new unit.

Radio Replacement

Thanks for the tip...radio removal was a snap.
One problem: the VW radio antenna jack doesn't match the replacement radio jack, which is a standard "banana plug" style jack.

Any hints on where to find an adapter or replacement?

Thanks.
