99 Eclipse, mods

I just got a 99 Eclipse GS. I wanted a GS-T or GSX, but I got a good deal on this one. where should i start with adding stuff to my car(for speed and looks). I just got this car 2 days ago, so I haven't done anything to it yet, but i plan on starting soon.

First thing I would do with that GS is save the money and buy a turbo engine for it. You can mod the piss out of that thing and you will still never have the hp ratings of a stock turbo engine. Once the engine is in there, you can go nuts with it, but the 420A is not as strong as the 4G63 when it comes to turbos.

As far as reliable, I have heard no complaints about the 420A. Supposed to be a really reliable engine.... but then again, so is a B16

As far as just bolting in a 4g63, it's virtually impossible. The cost alone would run you more than simply selling your car & buying a factory turbo model. Which is what I suggest. The internals on a 4g63 can withstand upwards of 450-hp stock!

hey if your going for all out but want to keep the 420a engine hahnrace craft has turbos for it. http://www.hahnracecraft.com then id get an intake and exausht at the same time. Thats just my thoughts if you dont want to drop the money for a turbo Id get the intake and exausht and maybe save for the turbo. Also id wait for like body kits till you got the engine running strong.
