Is it necessary to get bigger rims when tuning your car? I know they look nicer and provide better handling but could you have a really sooped up car with what I have on for wheels? I have 14" steel wheels on my suby and Friday I'm putting sticky Sumitomo rubber on them for the first time on Friday. The tires I have now lose air all of the time and have very poor traction. How much could one tune before needing to upgrade to bigger higher quality rims? Thanks,

when you feel the need or want to do so, then do so.
