C1 models Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ Blitz widebody transkit

Just received my transkit in the mail, so here's a quick review.

Here are all the pieces it comes with (Actually, I left a small piece of the diffuser in the box without realizing, oops). No decals or instructions are included. The car body does not require cutting for the kit to fit unlike all Rocket Bunny widebody offerings, unless Hellaflush

Compared to a Tamiya 86 bumper. Nicely molded.

Of course Tamiya is known for having perfect fitting parts right off the plastic trees.

C1's bumper is molded a bit thicker in comparison, but nothing some light sanding won't fix.

The rear diffuser is a complete replacement and has grooves for the rear bumper to sit on.

Sits perfectly.

The rest of the kit is molded similarly and needs the usual clean up with aftermarket resin parts.

It's not as wide as a Rocket Bunny bodykit, but rather it enhances the line of the body by slightly widening it.

Not shown is the included center mounted GT-Wing.
All the parts were temporarily mounted on the body with clear scotch tape and none of the parts were sanded down, all were taken straight out of the box and mounted. Some mold release tabs prevented parts to conform to the body lines properly, not that the parts are warped.

For the price, I'm satisfy with the transkit having crisp and thick molding to allow room for adjustment and having general good fitment. Recommended to anyone who wants to add a body kit to a 86/BRZ but who aren't interested in Rocket Bunny.

A non-widebody version of this kit is also available at a slightly lower price point. Both can be purchased directly from C1 Models' website/Facebook page.

That looks like a nice trans kit. It should build up in to a convincing replica.
