I have always had PS on my 4th Gens - it was a standard fitting on them. I like it -it's great for parking etc and I get just as much feedback as I do from a 3rd gen without it. Power loss is about 3bhp, I can live with that

the power loss isnt the real issue....
Power steering is a creature comfort, not a necessity. It helps you turn/park and maneuver at very low speeds. The faster you go, the more oversteer you will have. It becomes dangerous at very high speeds, because it cannot react fast enough to whats happening. My advice, if you want a 4g, get used to tough steering at low speeds....you'll have huge forearms, just like me..hehehehe
