Unhappy Royaly Fucked up my Car

Well tryed the Melt change your turn signals to running lights and corner lense to turn signals. Well that didnt work figures yea. the only thing i did was just striped some of the wires and that was all. Played around with that for a little bit, tryed the turn signal the turn indicater went mad crazy. Next 5 minutes it stoped working. Me and my friend got in the car and drove around. Well first I couldnt get it out of park when i was sitting in my drive way, so i had to use the unlock thingy with the key that worked. Well closed the door, the automatic seat belts didnt go up, my tach does not work anymore, doesnt even idle. When i put the key to the on position, the only thing that lights up on the instrument panel is the battery light. clock doesnt work either

Things that do work: Brake lights, tail lights, instrument panel lights,cd player lights, windows work, mirrors work.

Please people give me feed back ASAP

I couldent really see you blowing that many fuses just by stripping the wires. Unless you accidently touched the + to a ground. In that case it shoulda only blew 1 fuse.

Electrical Systems are by far the most difficult to troubleshoot.
I would suggest getting a mechanic to check it out.

Also check your ECU to see if your getting any codes

I dont know, bring ur car to my house and ill check ur fuses.....better yet, YOU CHECK THE FUSES. , that was mean, im sry. But fuses could definitley be it, one of the wires may be touchin and may have caused a short, so I'd check fuses for the things that dont work, and recheck ur wires u messed with to make sure there not touchin.

LOL practice makes perfect.

I just redid some of the wiring for my MPFI so I could use an OEM harness and EF resistor box and my car started up just fine after that

cannot stress enough that honda electrical systems are very sensitive.

One short, bad ground or blown fuse can cause a whole chain of events if you're not careful. Thats why I always run a seperate new loop for any electrical equipment that I put in my Si.....that way, if something goes wrong, i can just take it out, and my factory wiring will still be like its supposed to be.

got you all beat. I took the Cigarette lighter fuse out cause I thought it was in the wrong spot. Then my CD player and radar detector wouldnt work. I took the Cd player out and hooked the wires up to the battery but I didnt get the red and yellow together. I just had black and red so it didnt come on. I beat it to death with a hammer and then about a week later I bought a $160 one off ebay and it didnt work either. Then as I was doing laundry I found the fuse that fell out of my pocket the week before went and put it back in and everything worked fine. So thats the end of the rant.

Ok guys, for one thing, the fuse for the cigarette lighter is the fuse that controls the radio, lighter, and dome light, without it niether works...
