The biggest nice thing to have when displaying your model is a dust free environment. This normally involves covering it somehow (somewhat unfortunately). Glass front cases are very common. If you want to get elaborate, you can lay down mirrors on the surface of the shelf so you can see the underside. You can even put mirrors on the back wall of the shelf so you can see the back side of the car. Some track lights along the top of the shelf will show off your cars paint jobs as well. Basically, you can be as creative with the cabinet as you are with the models!

I'm now busy with the nissan primera racecar of tamiya and I just did the opel team holzer.

On hold are the nissan skyline racecar of tamiya, the ford performance blue and a toyota racecar by tamiya.

Already read the faq three times or so...

First off welcome! Are you talking about displaying your models or photographing them? For photographing buy a piece of glass nd paint the bottom gloss black with krylon and it gives it a nice "floor to stand on".

BTW I think our signatures are kinda conflicting.
