'99 G20 performance shocks/struts?

My suspension is in the process of being upgraded. But, my local tuning shop is trying to tell me that there aren't any aftermarket performance shocks or stuts for my '99 G20t, and I'll have to ride stock, which will probably end up giving up the ghost in about a year or two! I know that there has to be some applications out there somewhere for the '99 P11, but I can't find any either. If anyone has any input or info, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

there are aftermarket shocks for the P11, but no full complete setups. youll have to mix and match, but i think Koni is making a full setup soon to be produced. correct me if im wrong, just going on memory.

The TEIN's are complete. Well a complete shock and spring setup anyway. Also the JIC Magic are fully complete replacements.

The Koni's should be out by the end of the year, at least that is what they say, the part #'s are 8040 1127 front and 8040 1220 rear.
Good luck, and let us know if you can get these parts yet.

Konis

The correct Koni part numbers for a US/NA G20 are 8040-1127 front and 8040-1242 rear for sport (yellow) Konis. The 8040-1220 is a special (orange) shock that doesn't have as stiff of valving as the yellows.
Any place that carries Konis should be able to get these for you (i.e. TireRack, shox.com, etc.)
I've had the Konis on stock springs and it is a definite improvement. The ride got even better when I upgraded to Konis and Ground Control coilovers.
