2009 Escape Liftgate hard to open

Most of the time the liftgate is hard to open on my 2009 Escape. I see there is a service bulletin on this TSB-12-4-3 sequence number 10044854. I can't find information on what the fix is. Any information on the service bulletin would help. Thanks

The tsb just wants you to install a flat washer under the striker to lift it up for proper alignment. I can send the pdf of the tsb to your email if you want.

Re: 2009 Escape Liftgate hard to open

Thanks for the info. I put a washer as recommend and it worked fine. Don't need the PDF. You have been a great help!
