2000 Silverado 5.3 Check engine oil level

So around september I changed my oil to mobile 1 extended performance full synthetic. Since then my check engine oil level light has came on twice, today being the second time. Both times it was at the add mark. The truck does not leak ANY oil, so would anyone have any idea as to what might be going on?

My 2000 silverado has had mobil 1 5-30wt synthetic since 2001. the first year I used regular engine oil. . I have 150,000 on it now original owner and I use about 1/2 qt @ the 8,000 mile oil change interval.
so you have not stated any info about this vehicle other than the year..mileage of veh/miles on oil / filters used. how long YOU owned this / how many qts added during this MILES USED/ PCV replacement and hoses.
