*sigh*

There is no such thing as a "best" setup. Everyone has their own preferances, every car is also differant... also whats "best" and what fits your budget are two completely differant things. Case in point? The BEST speakers are Rainbow Referance... get ready to slap down $5k for a component set.

BTW if you are a big baller and need those, contact me im a dealer for Rainbow

BUT, again... BEST and BUDGET need to go hand in hand. How much are you looking to spend, and what are you looking for (headunit, speakers, subwoofer... just a headunit? just speakers?) Need more details my man!

What kind of car do you have or plan on getting? How much $ can you spend? What kind of sound are you looking for? Some people just want crisp, clean music, while others want a head turning, hear around the block bass.

Well i would like head turning bass and I am getting a 98 integra. I am willing to spend up to 1000 dollars. If you could think of a complete system that would be in that price range i would be very appreciative
Thanks

Two Memphis 12" HPO's, a Memphis 1000D mono amp (find a dealer through www.memphiscaraudio.com), if you want Memphis highs are loud and clear, or you could go with the REV series Pioneer, XTant, Diamond Audio, Focal, or MB Quart for the highs, and an amp that will power them. Once you figure out which highs you would like then we could tell you which amp to go for. Any more questions just ask.

well ppl may not hear you coming, this shit would clear and hit nicely. Even tho i don't condone online buying due to warranty issues and the idea of not supporting your local shop which may come in handy with hands on install info/problems and tuning. but here goes.
pioneer deh-6400 199
kicker 60.2 61/2 components 139
metra wiring harness 15
4 gauge wiring kit 60
kicker 200.2 amp for the comps 169
kicker kx 400.1 249
2 kicker 03c124 two 4 ohm subs wired in mono 2ohms 140
a dual 1.25 cu.ft box 75
then various items such as rca's dblocks connectors some 8 gauge 50

install yourself and you're right around 1100 bucks these prices cept the wiring harness and sub enclosure are from www.carstereoonline.com
yes it's all kicker but kicker has an extensive product line giving them good entry level stuff.

When going for head turning bass rember one thing, mainstream is not the way to go. Rockford, Sony, and all those big names don't put up big shit untill you hit their spl lines. Try this setup.
1 or two RE SE12"($238 a piece)best bang for the buck. Have seen them take 3500 watts without a problem.
1 Crossfire 2000d(650 used on Termpro)
or
2 Crossfire 1000d(300 a piece on termpro)
