Different Livery for R390 Gt1?

I only know of the Black/Red 1997, and Blue/White 1998 cars. Are there any other liveries out there?

I don't have a very good imagination for this stuff, but I would like to do a different livery. I plan on a very detailed build and I don't care for the existing ones. I also don't care for a full carbon version either. I was thinking maybe a phantom livery with unique colors. What decal sheets should I look at that might fit?

I don't know why I'm being so picky. I don't like any of those either.

I was looking closer and it looks like the 97 car and 98 car have the same stickers just a different paint scheme. I wonder if I can just pick another colors and use the same decals.

I was even thinking the red and blue R89C scheme. Kind of a retro look

I was thinking the same thing, either the Red/White/Blue of the R89 or even the 300ZX-TT that ran in the IMSA GTO series.

If you wanted a livery that was actually on the R390 GT1 beside 98' and 99' race versions Nissan ran an all black (non carbon fiber) test version with the Nissan logos in red , a few mall corner panel logos and numbers and such. I was considering doing that version, but had a hard time finding the correct decals for it.

I'm just really over the black and red together. I have been staring at this car forever and I want something different. I may try and see if I can do something in photos hop to see How it looks

I am leaning towards a solid color. Blue sounds nice. I think red would work too, with the existing decals.

Why don´t you take the decals of Tamiya´s R89C and paint the stripes yourself?

And if it doesn´t has to be realistic, do a quick search in some slot racing forums. Those guys have nice phantom racers very often.

I am scared of painting the stripes. I really want that livery though, so I think that is what I will pursue. I do have two bodies, so I can sacrifice one for practice.
