Marc VDS 2012 BMW Z4 GT3
Recently finished project....The Marc VDS BMW Z4 from the 2012 24 hour Nurburgring race.
I used the Fujimi kit, with corrected parts from Hobby Design, wing, wheels, and brake set and Studio 27 decals and etch set. The silver is from Renaissance - Ferrari 250GTO aluminium, a very good match. The only omission from the build is the front wing vents...

The real thing....

WOW! The decal placement drawings don't do the livery justice, it's much more striking than I had thought. Great job! I'm a little confused by the Falken & Michelin decals though.

Thank you. The Falken decals are obligatory wear for the Nurburgring race, irrespective of what other tyre manufacturer the various teams use. Odd but true!

Here's the real thing...In my opinion it's a better livery than the 2011 version via Pitwall. Studio 27 did a good job with their set.
