bouncin alot
i have a 97 gs and my skunk 2 coilovers with tokicko shocks make my ride jump alot anyone know how to fix it?

Raise it up a little? You're compressing the shocks to much & it has no rebound. How far is it lowered?

i have it lowered all the way down which is about a inch over the wheels

Thats your exact problem right there. Don't keep driving on it or you will blow your shocks & you've got to redo it. Did you trim your bump stops also? I would raise the car to about 1" above your tires. That gives plenty of travel, & a comfortable ride. Good luck

hey
hey sorry i got u confuesed but i meant its 1 inch over the tires as in above, still with a one inch wheel gap, and where can i go to get that bump stop trim? what does that do?

Your bump stop is a little piece of urethane that prevents the shock from bottoming out completely. It goes in between the top hat of the spring assembly, and the top of the shock when it compresses. You've got to trim about 1/2 of it off so the shock has farther travel.

The brand of the coil over has nothing to do with it, assuming the buyer was informed enough to choose the correct spring rates. Anyone can make the collar, its the spring rate that determines the ride quality, along with the shock valving, how well they are matched to eachother, and how well htat is matched to the wheel/shockratio of the car in question combined with its weight. Man, that was a mouthful. 1" gap is plenty. I am just above the tires, perhaps a quarter inch, on GCs and Tokicos. It took 2 years and 70k miles for the rears to fail, and the front are still fine. I use 450 pounds up front, and 325 in the rear. 325 is a bit stiff for illuminas, so expect the shock to wear quickly at that rate and higher. As always, shocks are a consumable item. They are not meant to last forever. Sure they offer lifetime warranty, but try to actually get them to honor it
I'm assuming you have illuminas, so correct me if I'm wrong. That will affect things greatly. What are your spring rates? Did you use the upper mounts? IF not you will want them in th front. On a 2g, you will be on the bump stops sitting still even if you cut them at 1" wheel gap. Is the bounce because the shocks have failed or becuase they are mismatched with the spring rates? We need all of this info to properly diagnose the problem and offer suggestions for a solution. Without, people are only guessing.
