Porsche RSR Toblerone 1/24 LeMans 1974

Hello,

Finally found some time to post pictures from the Porsche RSR 3.0 in Toblerone Livery.

It started as a project to make some decals for Marmotte, from who I've got the idea. To make the decals for him I made the same body like he did so the decals could be fit right.

I've always liked the Toblerone livery, about 6 month's ago I discovered I still had that body unfinished.
In the meantime LoveGT40 also started a WIP for his RSR, which methode is almost the same.

In the following posts some pictures from my in progress till where I am at this moment, body is decalled, window trims need to be painted and the interior has to be made.

After that came the first color layer, red.

Then the light sand color, taken from a package from the famous chocolates...

After this I modified the chassis, and fitted the correct wheels, the wheel stand is dry fitted.

Next thins is applying the white decals, and then the decals were made.

I also modified the rear spoiler I made, as it first was to short.

Next step are the decals, I made them using CorelDraw, The white undertray is printed from JAWI.

Final step so far, decals are applied, a clearcoat is set over it all, now drying for a few weeks. I have to find some time to go on with the model.
The rear spoiler is also in place here.
