What the hell is this noise !!!!

bought this car for my son, his first car. drives around for a few weeks and he calls me and says the car is making funny noises, I tell him turn the radio up.... brings it home and I hear this....cant figure it out. the car still runs and drives with no problem. it been parked in driveway for awhile till we fix this problem, if anybody can help will appreciate it.

That sounds like an internal engine problem. Rod/Bearing issue.

noise is coming front top of engine, could be lifter.... just waiting for more input.

I would pull valve cover and check it out.

is this hard to do, never worked on these cars before.

You have a valve seat loose and it will cause you to drop a valve(#3 or #4 exhaust valve) . I've had two of these do the same. Both of mine happened around 130K. Lost the 1st engine but knew the sound when the second started doing it. Pulled the head and had the seats replaced, my machine shop said they have repaired too many of these to count.
