Alcohol causing problems?
I have been thinking of many fuel gauges going out on cars and Buicks. Is it the the alcohol in the fuel allowing water to be capable to mess up or corrode the gauge sending unit in the tank?

Re: Alcohol causing problems?
Its GM "quality" parts that is the problem.

Re: Alcohol causing problems?
Well that would be 3 now total. I have had fuel gauge failures on my 94', 96', 2000' models. Since this I saw a post showing the bearing wears out which holds the contacts true tracking on the circuit.
GM parts..
