We have opportunity to buy 96 Town Car… need thoughts

We have a chance to buy a 96 Town Car with 55,000 original miles for $5,000. It's been garage kept and seems in great shape. How many miles can we expect to get out of it if we take care… frequent service, etc. Any thoughts or comments?

With regular and proper maintenance, the Ford 4.6L Engine will go 400,000 miles. Although a 1996 with just 55,000 miles is low, the price is a bit high. It's worth closer to $3000.

Thanks. I've priced a number of them in our area. All that are $3,000 and $4,000 have well in excess of 100K miles. As mentioned, this was garage kept and in excellent condition inside and out. Thanks. Army Regular.

Five K seems a bit high. Which series is the TC ?
Thirty five hundred to fourty five seems to be the market, even w/ leather int.
Any sign of accidents ? Engine clean ?
