06 equinox/torrent temp power steering loss
Driving into work this morning I hit a small pothole and lost my power steering for a few minutes. I pulled into work and parked and turned wheel back and forth and seemed ok. Drove it out for lunch and seemed ok. I'm afraid this could happen on the highway or something. It was out for a few minutes and a few hundred feet. Any ideas? Weather was very cold but other than that not slippery

Re: 06 equinox/torrent temp power steering loss
Your Eqiunox has electronic power steering assist. Did any messages come up on the driver information center? There may be a loose connection at the power steering control module, or in the fuse box. There may be a code stored in history also. You would need someone with a capable scanner (like a Tech 2) to check for codes in the steering system.
